The location is smack bang in the middle of Thamel, tourist area. For being right in the busy part of the town the room was very quiet. The hotel although older was very clean and an effort by staff to make it "nice". The staff were awesome about making me a good vegetarian breakfast that was both delicious and fresh. The room size was very good and the linen clean and fresh (not always the case in Nepal!).

A haven in the middle of bustling Thamel. Heritage building with lots of character. Super friendly staff that will tend to all your needs. Breakfast served in the sunny house garden, that is also a great place to work and chill. Spacious rooms, great value for money. Most guests are regulars that make this place their home when in Kathmandu

We have to leave eary at 6:30 a.m to catch the bus to Pokhra. So we had packed breakfast instead. So there is not much we can comment about the breakfast.
